Dear Parent / Guardian,
On behalf of SASSA (St Andrew's School Support Association), I would like to welcome you to St Andrew’s School. Your child’s first days at school can be quite an experience, and like all parents you will want to support and encourage their learning and development over the coming years, and we wish you and your child a happy and fulfilling time at school.

SASSA forms part of the community of St Andrew’s, bringing together parents and teachers to help stimulate and further the education and welfare of the children attending the school. Formed over 20 years ago SASSA works alongside the school to provide additional resources which give greater opportunities for pupils to both learn and play, and has made a significant contribution to the fabric and spirit of the school helping to create a warm and welcoming community.

There are various school events throughout the year that SASSA support i.e. sports day, concerts, etc SASSA have also been successful in the application for a grant for staging and lighting.

SASSA welcomes all new members and ideas, and if you would like to help in the continued support of the school please have a chat with any of the Committee Members to find out what’s being planned, and forward any ideas. It is truly inspiring to see what a little effort can achieve in a small community with a big heart like St Andrews. Meetings are normally held on the first Wednesday of the month at a local venue.
